Macquarie Investment Management (MIM) offers securities investment management capabilities across a number of asset classes to leading German institutions. These capabilities include fixed interest, currencies, equities, infrastructure securities, private markets, hedge funds and multi-asset allocation solutions. MIM has over €171 billion of assets under management and a team of approximately 870 staff in Europe, Australia, Asia, and the US (as at 31 December 2011).

MIM is a division of Macquarie Funds Group (MFG) which is Macquarie Group's funds management business. With €248 billion in assets under management (as at 31 December 2011), MFG is a top 50 manager globally and Australia's largest global asset manager. MFG offers a diverse range of capabilities and products including infrastructure and real asset management, securities investment management and structured access to funds, equity-based products and alternative assets. MFG has been managing assets for institutional and retail investors since 1980 in Australia and since 1929 in the US, through a predecessor firm of Delaware Investments.

German institutional investors are able to access the investment capabilities of MIM and MFG either via a separate account or through a range of pooled investment vehicles.
